Bridgestone, number one tyre and rubber manufacturer in the world, was the Official Tyre Supplier to MotoGP™ in 2014 and will continue supplying tyres throughout the 2015 season to BMW’s fleet of MotoGP™ Safety Vehicles, with the partnership between the two giants of the automotive world . This year marks Bridgestone’s seventh year as sole tyre supplier to the MotoGP™ and the new tyre supply agreement with BMW M, the Official car of MotoGP™ will equip all Safety and Medical vehicles with the latest Bridgestone tyres. This agreement will help enhance the world’s leading tyre manufacturer’s visibility in the MotoGP™ paddock, while showcasing the latest passenger car and motorcycle tyres to a global audience. The BMW M4 Coupe, M3 and M6 Gran Coupe Safety Cars as well as the M5 Safety Officer Car and the M550xd Touring Medical Car have all been fitted with high-performance Bridgestone POTENZA tyres. The BMW S 1000 RR Safety Bikes have been fitted with Bridgestone BATTLAX tyres. The fitment of these premium Bridgestone products ensures the operators of these vehicles will experience the highest levels of safety, performance and control.

The partnership between Bridgestone and BMW M GmbH is also extended beyond race track with Bridgestone being the exclusive tyre supplier to the BMW Driving Experience. Comprising a range of specialised training programmes that enhance driving skills, safety and performance, the BMW Driving Experience has offered specialist training to nearly 25.000 participants world-wide. The diverse programme includes courses in safety, snow and ice driving, racing techniques and professional driving. BMW Tour Experience and customised driving experiences are also offered.
